You can use this online tool to check what actions you can take about discrimination.
When you start the tool, it will ask you a few questions about when and where the discrimination happened. You can then choose the right answers for your situation.
It will take around a minute to complete.
When you’ve answered the questions, the tool will tell you what action you can take about discrimination, including:
making an informal complaint
making a formal complaint - for example by complaining to an ombudsman
making a court claim
what to do if you’ve experienced harassment that might also be a crime
Taking action about discrimination can be really stressful. It might help to have somebody else with you to help you consider your options. You don’t have to take any action if you don’t want to.
